I decided to try a frozen Chicago Town Chicken Supreme pizza which claims to be just like a take out pizza, but one that you cook at home instead of having a man bring it to the door. I got two for £5 in my local Tesco supermarket as they were on offer. The other is pepperoni which I shall write about when I’ve eaten it.

The cooking instructions on this pizza say to cook it in the oven from cold. This is the same on a few frozen pizzas that let the pizza dough rise as the oven warms before actually cooking it. It took 25 mins to cook in total, and came out looking very nice.

There is a warning on the box to say that the filling will be very hot after it’s cooked, I ignored this warning and burnt myself. I guess it would normally have time to cool down on the way to your house while it’s having a ride on the back of a motor scooter.

Altogether, it was very much like a take out pizza, but of course MUCH cheaper - I must buy some more while they are on offer.
