Cardboard Cut-out Stand-up Project Print

For my Star Wars themed fancy dress party, I made some cardboard cut-out stand-ups.

First of all I sliced up a picture of a Star Wars Biker Scout in Photoshop and printed it out on my laser printer. It's all on A4 shets because that's the biggest the printer will do.

Next, I cut all the white edges off leaving only a small overlap on the bottom and right hand sides of the shets so there is something to stick the pieces together with. I also trimmed armound the outside of the Biker Scout with scissors.

Here it is all cut out, it's 180cm tall.

I stuck the whole thing to Cardboard using spray mount adhesive:

Once I'd cut the cardboard shape out I used a hot glue gun to stick extra reinforcements to the back to stop it bending:

I also did a cut-out stand-up of an Ewok:
